The Class A Boys and Girls State Track and Field Meet got underway on Thursday at St. Michael-Albertville High School.  Four events went final on Thursday, all other events were preliminary results with the top 9 in each event qualifying for Friday's finals.

The Section 6A True Team Track and Field meet was held on Tuesday in Pelican Rapids.  Barnesville, Pelican Rapids and Osakis finished 1-2-3 in the girls’ team competition, while Osakis, Pelican Rapids and Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale ended up one through three on the boys’ side.
