The Rothsay boys’ basketball team recorded an 81-52 victory over New York Mills on Tuesday night. “Throughout the game I thought we moved the ball well and made the correct reads,” said Head Coach Taylor Fuhs of the Tigers. “In the first half Mills out worked us on the glass which made things difficult, but in the second half we did much better controlling the offensive rebounds.”
Matthew Danielson scored 34 points, making 7 3’s in the game, to lead the Tigers to the victory. Karson Jensen was also in double digits with 16 points and Carson Weiers added 9.
The win snapped a four game Rothsay losing streak and is the fourth victory of the season for the Tigers. They will close out their regular season schedule with a Friday night contest in Moorhead against Park Christian.
