Henning had another big offensive night on Thursday, shooting 60% (34-56) from the field and making 10-of-19 3’s (52%) and 11-of-12 free throws in their 89-50 win over Parkers Prairie.  The Hornets led 50-26 at halftime.

Mason Hammer led the way with 28 points and Tyson Misegades added 22 points.  Kale Misegades registered a double double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Lane Dilly led the Hornets with 12 rebounds and also chipped in with 8 points and 5 assists.

“Tonight was a really fun atmosphere in our gym,” said Head Coach Randy Misegades. “Our guys fed off the energy and jumped out early and then extended the lead throughout the game.

Parkers Prairie has some really nice athletes and a lot of size. They are a tough matchup. But, we were able to turn them over early which led to some easy buckets and open looks for our shooters. Our JV team also played well tonight and came away with a convincing win. It is fun to see the younger guys playing their best basketball down the stretch.”

Mason Arens and Dylan Debilzen led the Panthers with 15 and 14 points, respectively.

Henning (20-2, 13-0 PRC) has a road game against Bertha-Hewitt on Tuesday.

Parkers Prairie (8-10, 4-10 LEC) is at Rothsay Friday night.
