Sophomore Carter White of Staples-Motley was crowned the individual champion at the Class AA Boys State Golf Tournament on Wednesday at Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan. His 144 (72-72) two-day total was 3 better than a trio of golfers who turned in scores of 147 over the two-day event. Roseau senior Max Wilson (73-74-147), Peyton Savageau (73-74-147) of Totino-Grace and Karson Patten (74-73-147) of Cloquet were the three golfers sharing runner-up honors.
