Fergus Falls High School and Community College graduate Clay Moser is leaving Arkansas after serving the last three years as an assistant to Head Coach Eric Musselman. Moser joined the Razorbacks staff in 2019 after almost eight years as an assistant with the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. In Moser’s three years at Arkansas, the Razorbacks reached the Elite 8 in back-to-back NCAA Tournaments. Moser said he’s going to take his time deciding on his next job opportunity.
The Fergus Falls Otters shot 63% (14-22) in the first half, including 8-of-12 on 3’s, as they built a 36-29 halftime lead over the Vikings in Pelican Rapids. They cooled off in the second half, making just 37% (9-24) of their shots, while the Vikings shot 54% (12-22), making 5-of-7 3’s and 14-of-17 free throws as they rallied to win the game, 72-62.
Fergus Falls held off a second-half comeback from East Grand Forks, gaining a 64-51 win Thursday night. The Otters advance in Section 8AA opening-round play and will meet Pelican Rapids, 70-40 winners over Frazee-Vergas, in quarter-final play Saturday night on the Vikings home court.
