The Bulldogs collected 12 hits in the game with Owen Harig, Noah Link and Gavin Pausch picking up two each. Link, Pausch, Soren Floden and Lane Dilly each drove in three runs for Ottertail Central and the Bulldogs took 9 walks in the game. Harig and Pausch each had multiple stolen bases for OTC as they racked up 10 team steals in the game.
“Going into the game we knew that Coach Ryan Hendrickson would have a solid squad and they didn’t disappoint,” Comets head coach Zach Stich said. “Unfortunately, our inexperience showed as we made too many errors and could not get the bat off our shoulders at times.”
Joe Torgerson (3B, R) and Daniel Reisch each had one hit for Hillcrest and Ethan Swedberg drove in a run and went 1-for-2 at the plate for the Comets. Jon Wutka also knocked in a run.
Ottertail Central will welcome Frazee for their next game on Monday.
