Perham competed at the Thundering Herd Indoor Track and Field Classic, hosted by NDSU on Monday at the Bison Sports Arena in Fargo. The Yellowjacket girls’ placed sixth with 49 points and Carrington, ND won the event with 72 points. Fergus Falls was runner-up with 67.2, Oak Grove Lutheran was third with 58.2, followed by Shanley 55, Valley City 50.2, Perham 49, Central Cass 46, Park Rapids Area 39.2, International Falls 36, Staples-Motley 30, Pelican Rapids 19, Northern Cass 9, Richland 8.5, and Edgeley/Kulm 4.

Gracie Morris and Kennedy Pilgrim led the Yellowjackets with Morris winning the pole vault (12’0”) and Pilgrim taking top honors in the triple jump (34’9”). Pilgrim also finished third in the long jump (15’5”) and Morris came in sixth in the 60 meter dash (8.39).
