Parkers Prairie made the short trip north to Henning on Thursday night for a non-conference matchup against the Hornets. After a very even first half, the Hornets were able to end the half on a 9-0 run to take a 29-21 lead into the break. Although the Panthers had a late charge, they could never get it any closer than 6, and Henning was able to hold on to a 50-39 victory.

“Hard-fought win tonight for Henning," commented Panthers Head Coach Hunter Haggenmiller. "Our girls did a nice job all night defensively but credit to the Hornets who made some big shots. One we have to move on from quickly with playoffs fast approaching and Senior Night tomorrow against LPGE.”

Lyvia Misegades led all scorers with 20 points.

Johahna McKeown led Parkers Prairie with 13, followed by Evy Grinager with 10.

Parkers Prairie will finish their regular season Friday against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle.

Henning (10-14, 5-9 PRC) will host Battle Lake on Friday to complete their regular season schedule.
