Kallyn Grove (17 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 blocks) registered a double-double, Mily Albjerg (11 points, 9 rebounds) just missed a double-double, and Liz Lukken scored a game high 23 points, as the Underwood girls’ basketball team built a 39-13 halftime lead on the way to a 65-28 victory over the Henning Hornets on Tuesday night.
“We shot the ball pretty well tonight, but defensively, Ezrah Baker and Emma Dirkman had very good games,” said Head Coach Brian Hovland of the Rockets. “The two of them had very tough assignments and did an excellent job.”
Underwood (22-3, 16-2 LEC) has a Thursday home game against Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal.
