The Brandon-Evansville Chargers traveled to Bertha-Hewitt for their second to last game of the regular season and a chance to double their win total from last year. The offense showed up in a big way with Haddy Baune hitting shot after shot in the first half and Kylee Dingwall doing the same in the second half, leading the Chargers to a 43-33 halftime lead and an 80-65 victory.

“The defense put a lot of pressure in the full court but struggled to contain Bertha in the post and on the glass and this allowed Bertha to hang around nearly the whole game,” reported B-E Head Coach Stephen Schreiber.

Baune led the Chargers with 25 points and Dingwall added 23.  Mia Elmer joined them in double digits with 10.

Brandon-Evansville (18-7, 12-6 LEC) will close out the regular season schedule with a road game at Benson on Thursday.

Bertha-Hewitt (11-14, 4-10 PRC) goes to Swanville on Thursday for their regular season finale.
