The Menahga Braves won their 24th straight game on Thursday night when they traveled to Wadena for a Park Region Conference matchup with the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines.  Menahga posted a 46-30 victory, improving to 24-1 on the season. Kenzie Anderson led the Braves with 19 points and Erica Tormanen added 15.

“Tough one against an all-around, good Menahga team tonight,” said Wadena-Deer Creek Head Coach Jordan Cresap. “Just couldn’t get anything going offensively against their stingy defense. High turnover count and shots not falling made for a tough night for us. Back at it tomorrow against a physical Sebeka team!”

Addy Gravelle and Payton Gravelle each had 6 points to lead the Wolverines.

Menahga will host Hawley on Tuesday night, while Wadena-Deer Creek (14-10, 10-3 PRC) has a road game at Sebeka on Friday night.
