Fergus Falls was led by Ryan Hirst with 20 points, 8 rebounds and a pair of blocked shots. He also made 11-of-12 free throws. Micah Johnson also had 8 boards. Luke Pearson hit a trio of 3-point field goals and blocked two shots.
“Overall, I thought we gave great effort, defensively,” said Fergus Falls Head Coach Matt Johnson. “Bismarck Century is a really talented team. Offensively, we never got in a great flow, but much of that was because of Bismarck’s solid defense. It was a really fun environment in Moorhead’s new gym, and a really fun day of basketball.”
Fergus Falls (9-10) has a home game against Rocori on Tuesday and will play at Brainerd on Friday.
