Wadena-Deer Creek overcame a 31-21 halftime deficit to defeat Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 52-50 in a non-conference girls’ basketball contest, hosted by DGF.  “Another barn burner,” said WDC Head Coach Jordan Cresap.  “Jada Dykhoff was on fire tonight, hitting 9 threes, including the go ahead bucket with a few seconds left.  Loved our fight and response in the second half.  Defensively, we were very connected and got some big time stops when we needed them.”

Dykhoff poured in 31 points to lead the Wolverines.  Payton Gravelle was also in double figures with 11 points.

Alyvia Couchman led DGF with 12 points and MaKayla Bjelland finished with 9.

DGF will host Mahnomen/Waubun at 1:30pm Saturday in Glyndon, while Wadena-Deer Creek (10-8) will host Bertha-Hewitt in their next game on Tuesday.
