Jada Dykhoff connected on 6 3-point field goals Tuesday night, finishing with a team high 18 points to lead the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines to a 54-39 win over the Henning girls’ basketball team on the Hornets home floor.  Lyvia Misegades led all scorers as she recorded 23 points on the night.  Wadena-Deer Creek held a 27-21 halftime advantage in the game.

“Good win over in Henning tonight,” said Head Coach Jordan Cresap of the Wolverines. “Jada Dykhoff was a huge spark with six threes. Thought Kennedy Ness was tough defensively and on the boards as well. Still have some things to clean up but this crew will be eager to get back at it tomorrow.”

WDC had good balance behind Dykhoff as Montana Carsten scored 9, Addy Gravelle added 8 and Ness chipped in with 8.

Wadena-Deer Creek ended a 3 game losing skid with the win.  The Wolverines (5-5) will host Pillager on Friday night.

Henning (4-4) has a Friday home game with New York Mills.
