Parkers Prairie eliminated two double-digit deficits but was unable to defeat New York Mills on Monday night. The home team scored 6 consecutive second-chance points to break a 36-36 tie and pull away for a 47-36 victory.

The Panthers battled back from an early 18-4 deficit, but couldn't quite muster the offense to pull ahead from multiple ties in the second half. Ellie Koep led Parkers Prairie with 12 points, and Evy Grinager followed with 9.

Parkers Prairie continues their ten-game road trip with a matchup in Hancock with the Owls on Tuesday night.

No New York Mills stats have been reported.

The Eagles (2-5) are off until Thursday, December 28 when they play in the Pelican Rapids Tournament.
