The Parkers Prairie girls’ basketball season got off to a winning start to their season as they defeated Bertha-Hewitt, 40-37, on Tuesday night. Leading the way for the Panthers was Hope Koep with 10 points. She was followed by Evalynn Grinager with 8 and Johahana McKeown with 7. For Bertha-Hewitt, Carissa Winscher (12 point, 12 rebounds) recorded a double-double.
Parkers Prairie now hits the road for their next ten games, starting on Friday in Verndale.
