Fergus Falls went 1-3 at their Blocktoberfest Volleyball Tournament on Thursday. In pool play, the Otters lost to Park Rapids 2-0 (31-29, 26-24), Minnewaska Area 2-0 (25-23, 25-15) and Walker-Hackensack-Akeley 2-1 (25-12, 19-25, 15-12). Their lone win on the day came against Win-E-Mac 2-0 (25-13, 25-16).
“We had extremely close matches in our pool play,” said Head Coach Sabrina Noon of the Otters. “Our girls were swinging hard and playing some great defense. The last stretch of the games, our nerves would take over and we weren’t as aggressive as we should have been to finish the game. We played an extremely solid game against Win-E-Mac and ended the day playing very well together.”
