Fergus Falls fell behind 21-6 at halftime and fell to the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers, 21-12 on Wednesday night at Big Cat Stadium on the UM-Morris campus.  The Otters end their regular season schedule with a 2-6 record, while the Tigers finish 5-3.  Owen Anderson had a huge night running the football, gaining 193 yards on 32 carries.  As a team, the Tigers ran for 257 yards and had 292 total yards.

A one yard run by Anderson and a two point conversion run by quarterback Drew Huebner gave the home team an early 8-0 lead.  The Otters cut the lead to 8-6 when Isaiah Holmes connected with Levi King on a 21 yard pass.  Huebner’s 34 yard TD pass to Riley Asmus capped a 77 yard scoring drive and Huebner’s 5 yard TD run, followed by an extra point kick, put Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta ahead of the Otters, 21-6 at the half.

The Otters scored their second TD on a 9 yard pass to King from Henry Bethel in the fourth quarter.

Fergus Falls had only 89 yards rushing and threw for 116 yards as Holmes and Bethel combined to complete 10-of-15 passes.  Griffin Babolian was the leading rusher for the Otters with 45 yards on 13 attempts.
