Detroit Lakes scored 14 first quarter points, increased their lead to 21-0 at the half, led 31-0 after three quarters and improved their season record to 3-0 with a 31-6 victory over the Fergus Falls Otters on Friday night at the Otter Stadium.  DL had nearly 400 yards of total offense in the game, while holding the Otters to 144 yards.

An 11 yard run by Mason Carrier and a third PAT kick by Buboltz pushed the lead to 21-0 at halftime.  An interception by Andrew Bartnes put the Lakers in good field position on this drive.

A field goal by Buboltz and a 1 yard run by Zok, along with another extra-point kick by Buboltz, made the score 31-0 after three.

The Otters got on the board with 2:52 remaining in the game when Caleb Fronning scored on an 8 yard run.  The extra point attempt was no good.

Wall had close to 100 rushing yards to lead the Lakers and Carrier finished with75 yards.
