Breckenridge-Wahpeton hosted our home meet today (Friday). There were a total of 17 teams. Our varsity girls placed 3rd and boys placed 6th.
Kids ran great overcoming very hot temperatures. Lucie Comstock and Kiera Wiertzima moved up 20 placed between mile 1 and mile 3 finishing 7th and 8th. They are working very well together. Gracie Falk placed 20th also passing many girls in the 2nd half of the race. The girls are very patient and confident in their ability to run down the field late in the race. Noah Berge ran a very gritty race to move into 9th place in the final 800m meters.
