The Crookston Pirates girls’ soccer team defeated the Hillcrest Comets in Crookston on Tuesday, 2-0. Senior midfielder Cassie Solheim scored the first goal off of a corner kick halfway through the first half. She scored again with about 10 minutes remaining in the second half on a long shot outside of the right corner of the penalty box.
