The Hillcrest football team will be trying to replace some key playmakers from their 2022 team as 1200 yard rusher Evan Lindgren, quarterback Erik Bjorndahl and captain Micah Bermel (OL/DL) were all lost to graduation. Head Coach Korey Fry begins his fourth year in the program and will once again be assisted by Zach Stich (Offensive Coordinator), Kory Nordick and JP Stender.
Returning starters include Leo Nordick (TE/WR) and Gabe Swedenburg (WR/DB).
“We are very young in a lot of areas,” noted Coach Fry. “Our development during the season will be vital for our success. Playing fast in space will be our greatest strength. I look for Border West and Hancock to be the toughest teams in our Section.”
