Hunter leads WCA girls to 3rd place finish

The West Central Area girls placed 3rd at the Hillcrest meet at Pebble Lake on Thursday led by Lexi Hunter's 3rd place finish and a personal best by first year golfer Mya Foslien

The Quad County girls conference uses the top three scores from each team for the team score.  The Border West girls took first place with a 279 led by an outstanding round of 78 by Paige Beyer.  OTC was second at 289, WCA 3rd at 315, Pillager 323, Ashby 380 and Hillcrest - incomplete team score.

Individual medalists were:
1st - Paige Beyer, Border West 78
2nd - Kim Keefe, Pillager 88
3rd - Lexi Hunter, WCA 90
4th - Bridgette Hillman, OTC 92
5th - Sophie Hillman, OTC 96
6th - Aspen Beyer, Border West 97

WCA Scores were: Hunter 90, Mya Foslien 111, Emma Kaiser 115, Aubrey Schroeder 115, Joelle Toso 124.  

Border West: Pager Beyer 78, Aspen  Beyer 97, Josie Beyer104, Bria Lundquist 106.

OTC - B Hillman 92, S. Hillman 96, TIffany Weber 101, Janie Ihotak 103, Addison Maethner 109.

Ashby - Kolby BItzan 112, Veronica Johnson 122, Lilliana Topel 146.

Hillcrest scores: Makenzie Miller 122, Kaia Miller 136
