Tigers Sweep Comets in Softball Double Header

The Rothsay softball team improved their season record to 4-2 with a double header sweep of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy on Thursday.  The Tigers won the opener, 15-1 and took the nightcap, 18-1.  Their next double header is scheduled for Monday in Wheaton.

Pitching leaders for the Tigers against the Comets were Katie Reber (4IP, 1R, 0H, 7K), Madi Tollerud (2IP, 0R, 0H, 5K) and Kinsey Heier (2IP, 1R, 1H, 2K).

Offensively, the Tigers were led by Elli Meyer (3H, 3SB), Allison Phillips (3H), Tollerud (2H, 2RBI), Heier (2H, 2SB) and Lauren Reber (2H, 1RBI).
