Border West survived a battle with Lac qui Parle Valley on Thursday night. The Buccaneers led 37-30 at the half, however, LqPV outscored them 42-37 over the final 18 minutes. Border West was able to hold on for a 74-72 victory, scoring 25 points of 18 Lac qui Parle Valley turnovers, while only committing 7 turnovers on the night.
Andrew Walker was the high point man for the Bucs with 19 points. He also had 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Dylan Bainbridge finished with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Clint Determan (15 points, 3 assists, 4 steals, 4 rebounds) and Cole Gilsdorf (11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists) were also in double figures.
Border West (19-2, 12-0 LEC) will host Hancock in a conference matchup on Friday night.
