Rothsay was led by Matthew Danielson and Peyton Kadel with 15 points apiece. Landon Messerschmidt contributed 12 points and Preston Curtis added 10.
“We had a lot of contributions,” said Rothsay Head Coach Taylor Fuhs. “I though Jesse Bloundeau and Peyton Christensen really defended hard and gave us great effort, even though it may not show in the box score.”
Hillcrest will pay a visit to Rothsay on Tuesday night and the Tigers will travel to Battle Lake on Thursday, before returning home for a Friday night contest with Parkers Prairie.
