Jackson Koehl just missed a triple double on Tuesday night, scoring 12 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 9 assists to lead the Hancock Owls to a 66-52 win over Parkers Prairie in a Little Eight Conference boys’ basketball contest. Koehl also had a team high 5 steals and Hancock made 21-of-41 field goal attempts and had a 33-28 advantage on the boards.
The Owls were led by 16 points from Hudson VerSteeg and 15 from Braydon Kisgen. Chase Evink scored a dozen and Jared Koehl contributed 9 points. VerSteeg and Evink had 8 and 7 rebounds, respectively. Evink added 6 assists.
Parkers Prairie was led by Mason Arens with 14 and Benjamin Harrington with 13.
Hancock (8-8, 5-6 LEC) is at Rothsay on Friday night.
Parkers Prairie (6-9, 3-8 LEC) has a road game Thursday against Brandon-Evansville and will host Hillcrest on Friday night.
