Tigers Hit 18 3's and Place 5 in Double Digits to Beat Benson 80-75

The Rothsay boys’ basketball team hit 18 3’s in their 80-75 win over Benson on Monday night.  The Tigers trailed 50-40 at halftime, but held the Braves to 25 second half points.

Rothsay had five players in double figures, led by Landon Messerschmidt with 17.  Matthew Danielson and Peyton Christensen scored 16 points each, Karson Jensen added 13 and Preston Curtis finished with 11.

Rothsay (2-14) will host Brandon-Evansville on Tuesday and Hancock on Friday.
