Lakers Pull Away in Second Half for 78-52 Win Over Otters

The Detroit Lakes boys' basketball team trailed Fergus Falls 35-34 at halftime Saturday night, however, the Lakers pulled away in the second half for a 78-52 victory over the Otters.  The Lakers scored the first 11 points of the second half and held Fergus Falls to only two points in the first nine minutes of the half.

Detroit Lakes was led by Brandton Marsh with 19 points.  Mason Carrier and Oliver Quam added 14 points apiece.

Hayden Knick hit four 3's and had a team high 17 points for the Otters.  Henry Bethel had 11 points and 6 rebounds.  Jaydon Manteufel added 8 points and 5 rebounds, while Ryan Hirst contributed 7 points.

Fergus Falls has Central Lakes Conference home games against St. Cloud Apollo on Tuesday and Sartell on Friday.
