The Owls were led in scoring by Kaitlyn Rohloff with 23 points and Kaitlyn Staples with 21.
“We had a tough night against a very good Hancock team,” said Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso. “Between their stifling defense and shooting really well, we found ourselves behind big early in the game. In the second half Kenady Cameron was able to get her shot going and all 12 of her team high points came on 3-point baskets.”
Hancock (13-2, 8-0 LEC) will play at Morris on Saturday, while Battle Lake hosts Parkers Prairie.
