Hudson VerSteeg recorded a double-double (17 points, 11 rebounds), Chase Evink had 16 points and 8 rebounds, and Jackson Koehl finished with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Brayden Kisgen also had 5 assists.
The only Arrow to reach double figures was Kellen Dahlen. He knocked down three 3’s on the way to an 11-point total. Other statistical leaders were Brodie Ecker who secured 6 rebounds, Jake Norby with 3 steals, and Easton Nelson distributed 3 assists. The Arrows had a cold shooting night, hitting only 29% (15-52) of their shot attempts.
“We got off to a slow start, falling behind 20-5, and just couldn’t go on any scoring run to get back in the game,” stated Ashby Head Coach John Holsten.
Ashby (4-8, 3-6 LEC) gets right back at it on Friday night, hosting the Rothsay Tigers.
Hancock (6-6, 4-5 LEC) will play at Morris on Saturday.
