Hancock poured in 38 first half points, building an 11 point lead on the way to a 66-53 win over Parkers Prairie on Thursday night on the Owls home floor. Hancock made 28-of-59 (47%) of their shots from the floor and assisted on 24 of their 28 made baskets.
Leaders for Hancock were Hudson VerSteeg (17 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals), Chase Evink (16 points, 8 rebounds), Jackson Koehl (12 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists) and Jared Koehl (12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals). Rylan Meierding led the team with 9 assists and Brayden Kisgen contributed 5 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
Dylan Debilzen led the Panthers with 21 points and he was joined in double figures by Mason Arens with 10.
Hancock (3-3) will host Rothsay on Monday night.
Parkers Prairie (2-2) will travel to Underwood for a Little Eight Conference contest on Monday.
