Maddie Ballweg led the Comets with 20 points, Elsa Retzlaff added 15 and Ruby Peterson had 14 points and 3 steals.  Ella Knutson secured a team high 16 rebounds to go along with 8 points and 3 steals, and Madi Foss finished with 7 points, 13 rebounds and 4 steals.

“This was a great game for us coming off our Christmas break,” acknowledged Head Coach Hannah Clark of the Comets.  “The girls had great ball movement on offense and did a really nice job finding open players.  Maddie Ballweg had some great finishes at the rim and Ruby shot the ball well for us from the outside.  Ella and Madi Foss dominated the glass tonight.”

Hillcrest (5-2) will play against Wednesday in the Sacred Heart Holiday Tournament.
