Brandon-Evansville hit just 25.6% (11-43) of their field goal attempts on Saturday as they fell to Mora by a score of 71-43.  The Mustangs shot 50% (30-60) on the night and forced 19 Charger turnovers which led to 19 points.  Mora took good care of the ball with only 8 turnovers, and recorded 23 assists on their 30 made baskets.

The Chargers were led by Dezmond White (17 points) and Micah Fuler (14 points, 6 rebounds).  Brady Perleberg and Tanner Riedel led the team with 3 assists apiece.  Perleberg and Kian Gackle each had 5 rebounds.

“I loved how we played,” commented B-E Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “Mora is an excellent basketball team with multiple weapons that can beat you in many different ways. They deserved to win, but it wasn't because we played poorly.  We look forward to continuing to grow as a team.”

Leaders for Mora were Gage Braiedy (18 points, 7 rebounds), Max Sampson (18 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals) and Dallas Fix (15 points, 4 rebounds).  Josh Heggernes and Jonah Smart also had 4 assists apiece.

Brandon-Evansville (1-3) will host Battle Lake on Thursday night in Evansville.
