The Fergus Falls girls' soccer team hosted their cross-town rival Hillcrest Comets on Tuesday night at the Otter Stadium Field and came away with an 8-0 victory.

Ella Starzl scored an unassisted goal to get things started for the Otters and Tyra Skjeret made it 2-0 when she dribbled through traffic at the top of the 18 into the box and finished.

Starzl got her second of the night to start the second half, again unassisted.  She completed the hat trick when she turned the corner on the right side and finished strong at the net.  Madi Budke scored inside the 18, Yana Prischmann scored in tight from the left side, Budke scored from Skjeret and Skjeret added the eighth goal.

"We started slow tonight, could have been various reasons for it, but we turned the game around in the second half and scored some nice goals," reported Head Coach Ben Jurgens of the Otters.  "Vanessa Vaughn played solid along with Ry Krein defensively.  Madi Budke, Tyra Skjeret and Ella Starzl finished strong up top."
