Storm Rides Fast Start to 76-47 Win Over Fergus Falls

Fergus Falls traveled to Sauk Rapids on Wednesday night for a Central Lakes Conference makeup game which the Storm won by the score of 76-47.  Sauk Rapids-Rice led 40-21 at halftime.  The Storm hit eleven 3’s on the night and the Otters connected on eight shots from beyond the arc.

Dominic Mathies led the Storm with 22 points.  Mason Rudolph scored 11 and Hudson Omoke added 10.  Elijah Moilanen had a team high 7 assists.  The Storm held a 28-18 advantage on the boards.

Sauk Rapids-Rice jumped out to an 8-0 lead to start the game.  A 16-0 run by the Storm later in the first half gave them a 32-11 lead.

Fergus Falls had only one player in double figures, Elliot Pribbenow with 12.  Kaden Conklin had 8 points, Grant Ackerson 7 and Luke Newman 6 points and 9 rebounds.

Fergus Falls (9-15) will host Rocori on Friday and Alexandria at 1:30 Saturday afternoon.
