“It was a very slow start for us tonight offensively,” reported Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Zachary Traphagen. “Shots weren’t going in and we seemed to be one or two steps slow for the first 30 minutes of the game. But the girls didn’t quit, kept competing to tie the game up with just over 20 seconds left to play after being down by 16 or 17 late. Olivia Otto (15 points, 4 rebounds) really took over the game in the last 5 minutes. Had a really nice look on our last possession that fell short. It hurts, but we have to learn from it and come out with more energy tomorrow at home.”
Kylee Dingwall added 6 points and 8 rebounds, to go along with 2 steals. B-E shot 31% (14-44) from the field.
Brandon-Evansville (10-14) closes out the regular season at home against Ashby on Friday night.
