Underwood was led by freshman Kaleb Hammes with 15 points and 8th-grader Drew Evavold with 10.
“We turned the ball over too much, trying to move too quickly, but we were able to stay in the game,” reported Underwood Head Coach Kellen Shebeck. “Reed Solberg did a great job in the first half, eating up some valuable minutes when Cole Peterson had to sit for foul trouble very early in the game.”
Underwood was scheduled to host Hillcrest in a Little Eight Conference matchup on Friday night, but that game has been postponed.
