Cowgirls Shutdown Lady Vikings

Breckenridge gave up only 12 first half points and 9 second half points to Pelican Rapids on Thursday night as the Cowgirls registered a 51-21 victory over the Vikings.  The halftime lead was 28-12 for Breckenridge.

The Cowgirls were led by Carcie Materi with 11 points. Abby Johnson added 10 and Addison Twidwell had 9.

Ellie Welch had 8 points to lead Pelican Rapids.

Breckenridge (8-12, 6-5 HOL) will face Hillcrest on Saturday afternoon in Fergus Falls.

Pelican Rapids (12-10, 5-6 HOL) has a home game with Thief River Falls on Monday night.
