The Brandon-Evansville boys’ basketball team hosted Henning on Thursday night and the Chargers came away with a 46-44 victory over the Hornets.

“I thought we played pretty well on both sides of the ball tonight,” commented B-E Head Coach Trent Hintermeister.  “Our defense was locked in and we rebounded the ball well.  Tyler Bitzan and Titus Fuller were catalysts in this victory.  I am very proud of our two seniors and their endless efforts.  A huge shout out to our fans who gave us an advantage at home tonight.”

Titus Fuller had a game high 23 points to lead the Chargers and Dezmond White added a dozen.

Tyson Misegades led the Hornets with 15 points and Kale Misegades was their leading rebounder with 9.  Mason Hammer was also in double digits with 10 points and Carter Dilly added 8.

“Our kids played really hard, but shot extremely poorly from the floor,” stated Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “We had some decent looks, but couldn’t get much to fall. Give B/E a lot of credit. Their team is much better than their record indicates.”

Brandon-Evansville (11-10) has now won three straight games.  They will travel to Parkers Prairie on Friday night.

Henning (16-4) suffered their third straight loss.  They will host Bertha-Hewitt on Friday night.
