The Fergus Falls boys' basketball team halted their 4 game losing streak with a solid 51-45 win over Sauk Rapids-Rice on Tuesday night. The Otters held a slim 23-22 halftime lead on the Storm. They built their lead to 42-26 with 8 minutes left in the game, however, the Storm battled back to close the game to 4 points late in the game.
Henry Bethel (18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals) had a big night to lead the Otters. Kaden Conklin added 15 points and Luke Newman contributed 8 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Owen Hanson had 5 rebounds for the Otters.
Rebounds were even at 42 apiece and the Otters had 12 turnovers to 9 for Sauk Rapids-Rice.
Leaders for the Storm were Andrew Harren (11 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists), Dominic Mathies (10 points) and Mason Rudolph (12 points, 8 rebounds).
Fergus Falls (8-10) will host Rocori on Thursday night and will be at home for a 2:30pm game with Bemidji on Saturday.
