A balanced scoring attack led the Brandon-Evansville boys’ basketball team to a 72-52 win over the Ortonville Trojans on Saturday.  Titus Fuller led the way with 17 points.  Dezmond White added 15, Tyler Bitzan contributed 14 and Lucas Fuller chipped in with 11.

“It was a really fun day of basketball as we had a boy/girl doubleheader,” reported Chargers Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “Brandon-Evansville teams came out on top of all games and our community came out in full support. Having a packed gym is exciting for the student-athletes and makes the experience for them memorable. I want to say thanks to everyone in the B/E community that came out to watch some basketball today; we had 3rd through 12th graders on the floor at different points of the day and I truly enjoyed it all. I thought our boys played really hard tonight and continued to play through Ortonville making a lot of shots early on. Credit goes to our seniors for keeping our team always going in the right direction.”

Brandon-Evansville (8-8) will play at Melrose on Tuesday.

Ortonville will try to end a six game losing skid when they host Hancock on Friday night.  They also have a road game on Saturday against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg.
