Brandon-Evansville got off to a fast start on Saturday as they built a 39-19 halftime lead against Ortonville.  The Chargers ended up with a 58-39 victory over the Trojans.

“We were able to come away with a win today,” said B-E Head Coach Zach Traphagen. “We built a nice first half lead as Olivia Otto came out shooting the ball very well for us. There was pretty balanced scoring outside of her which is nice to see.”

Otto scored a game high 15 points, dished out 4 assists and had 4 steals.  Kiley Lund and Hadley Baune each scored 9 for the Chargers.  Kaytlyn Pattrin added 6 points and led the team with 7 steals.  Kylee Dingwall was the rebound leader with five.  She also had 4 steals and 3 assists.

The Chargers (9-8) are back into Little Eight Conference action on Monday at Rothsay.

Ortonville has lost 12 straight games.  They will play at Ashby on Monday.
