Lady Battlers Fail to Hold Halftime Lead in Loss at Lake Park

The Battle Lake girls’ basketball team let a 24-17 halftime lead slip away in a 48-43 loss to Lake Park-Audubon on Monday night.

“We just couldn’t hold them off in the second half,” said Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso. “This was a tough loss.”

Grace VanErp and Ady Tysdal each had 16 points to lead the lady Battlers in scoring.

Battle Lake (12-5, 7-1 LEC) will host Brandon-Evansville on Thursday.
