Grace VanErp led the lady Battlers with 22 points and Ady Tysdal put in 17.

The Arrows were led by Celi Nelson with 13 points.  Marisa Ludwig added 7 points and BrookeLinn Finkelson had 3.

“The Battlers play a very aggressive man defense and run the floor well,” noted Ashby Head Coach Brenda Johnson. “They were able to cause several turnovers and capitalize on them and they jumped out to quick lead and never looked back.  The Arrows are still looking for their first win, but this doesn't stop this group of young players to quit playing till the buzzer goes off.”

Battle Lake (12-4, 7-1 LEC) will play at Lake Park-Audubon on Monday night and will host Brandon-Evansville in a conference matchup on Thursday.

Ashby is at Verndale on Monday.
