Pelican Rapids held Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton to just six first half points as the lady Vikings took a 17-6 halftime lead on Friday night. DGF came alive offensively in the second half, outscoring Pelican 27-20, however, the lady Vikings held on for a 37-33 Heart O’ Lakes Conference win.
Morgan Korf led the way with 15 points, 3 assists and 2 steals. Ellie Welch added 11 points and a team high 7 rebounds, Sophia Paulson contributed 9 points and Tori Stephenson had 4 boards.
Pelican Rapids (12-5) will host Breckenridge in a 4:30pm contest on Tuesday.
DGF (3-10) will play at Frazee on Thursday.
