Henry Bethel led the Otters with 14 points. Luke Newman grabbed 8 rebounds and Elliot Pribbenow dished out a team high 4 assists.
"I was really proud of our effort tonight," said Fergus Falls Head Coach Matt Johnson. "We had a solid defensive and rebounding game. There was about a four minute stretch in the first half where we didn't take care of the ball that put us in a tough spot. We need to clean that up to be in games versus talented teams."
Moorhead was led by Adam Jenkins and Karsten Stumo with 13 and 11 points, respectively. Dylan Zimmerman and Mekhi Elmore were also in double figures with 10 points each.
Fergus Falls (7-8) will travel to St. Cloud Apollo on Monday night.
