Willow Thiel poured in 30 points and Sydney Anderson joined her in double digits with 11 for Perham.

“Tough night against the Yellowjackets,” commented WDC Head Coach Jordan Cresap. “They have many weapons offensively which makes for a challenging night defensively. Thought we competed hard, just not enough offensive firepower to stay in it. Couple lapses in the second half proved costly.” 

Montana Carsten led Wadena-Deer Creek with 6 points on a pair of 3’s.  Addyson Gravelle chipped in with 5 points.

Perham (12-4) will play at East Grand Forks on Monday.

Wadena-Deer Creek (8-8) has a home game with Bertha-Hewitt on Monday night.
