“We got off to a bit of a slow start tonight as the Tiger´s Kenadi Carlsrud scored 11 of her 18 points in the first half,” commented Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso. “Despite Carlsrud, we were able to extend a 38-18 lead by the half. In the second half we were able to extend the lead and finished with the win.”
Grace VanErp added 15 for the lady Battlers and Morgan Malone dominated inside, putting up 13 points in the win.
Battle Lake (10-3) will play at Henning on Tuesday and at Parkers Prairie on Thursday before coming home to host Ashby at 4:15pm Saturday.
Rothsay (2-11) will host Hillcrest on Thursday and Parkers Prairie on Friday in a pair of Little Eight Conference games.
