In a Little Eight conference matchup, the Rothsay boys’ basketball team traveled to Parkers Prairie for a Thursday night contest. Rothsay took a 27-20 halftime lead but Parkers Prairie outscored the Tigers 34-19 to finish with a 54-46 victory.
Rothsay was just 9-of-30 from the free throw line. Tanner Heier led the Tigers with 14 points, Chris Carrillo had 10, while Matthew Danielson and Karson Jensen contributed 8 each.
Rothsay (4-7) has another conference game Friday night in Fergus Falls, facing Hillcrest Lutheran Academy.
Parkers Prairie (6-5) travels to Evansville for a 1:15pm tip-off against the Brandon-Evansville Chargers on Saturday.
